Highlights:
The quiet calm of the Aurora Library, where my table was stationed for Global Fest, punctuated by a few familiar faces either buying all my books <3 or chatting with me about my The Darkness Within books. And tasing all the food from different countries - Nepalese dumplings, try em.
​
The nerdy whirlwind that is Denver Fan Expo. Buying my baby niece her first sword. Hugging a random SPN fan in my Cas cosplay. Buying soda that tastes exactly like a bombpop. And finally, the lights going out amidst a wave a cheers as the show came to a close.

The people at 2nd & Charles - they are delights. Plus, talking with a kid about my upcoming middle grade door-fantasy (not even written yet, but he promised to buy it, haha).
